Sapientia Press

Sapientia Press is Ave Maria University’s academic publishing imprint. It seeks to gain an international reputation for excellence in publishing scholarly books aimed at enhancing and promoting Catholic scholarship, with particular specializations in literature, theology, and Catholic social teaching. Its books are mostly published as scholarly monographs and edited volumes, contributing to first-rate Catholic scholarship in the arts and sciences; and as short primers of 100-150 pages each, providing a scholarly but accessible introduction to important topics for undergraduates, educated lay readers, and seminarians ("Sapientia Classics” Series).
