Professor M. V. Deshpande, B.E. (Elec.), B.E. (Mech.), M.S. (Illinois), F.I.E.E. (London), L.S.I.E.E.E. (USA), and F.I.E. Professor Deshpande also served as the Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra, for three years. He was Director of Training, Maharashtra State Electricity Board for two years and represented India at World Power Conferences in Canada, Australia, Japan and erstwhile USSR.
